House Email

In 2008, at the Tenth Annual Oxford House World Convention in New Orleans, LA, the general body voted in resolution #39 which states:

Be it Resolved: that each house shall obtain an email address for the house. [Vote 480 to 22]

Each house can benefit from obtaining and utilizing a house email account. Information on vacancies, employment, special meetings, 12-step meetings, chapter meetings, gatherings, events, etc. can all be shared via the network of house emails. Unity and communication is what keeps Oxford House strong and having an active email account will benefit the house and the organization as a whole.
